I've been wanting to skydive for a long time now and have been doing a lot of research on various places. The moment I came across Skydive Newport I knew this was the place...and I was right! We came all the way from New York City specifically to jump with them and I'm so happy we did. The staff was absolutely incredible and they really care that you feel comfortable and know everything that is going on. Nicky was amazing, and totally relaxed which made me feel the same way. He made sure I felt safe, answered all my questions, and we had a great time chatting in the plane and hamming it up for the camera. It was absolutely awesome and such a great way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you to everyone at Skydive Newport!

Skydive Newport exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we walked in I felt comfortable with the process and felt the staff was superbly trained.

My group got there early and sat at the picnic tables in the field. I would definitely reccomend it as it added to the experience of watching other jumpers before us and enjoying the great weather.

When it was our time to jump the crew (Nicky and Chris) not only kept us at ease with conversation but expertly guided us through the process and of all safety measures.

This past Saturday I traveled to Newport from Boston to skydive for the 3rd time. I always go to Skydive Newport because the staff there is incredibly friendly and professional. The view you get of the ocean is surreal at any point during the day. The best part is when the door opens at 10,000 feet and you just calm down and trust the awesome instructors that do this multiple times every day. This was my brother's first jump and he had an awesome and unforgettable time. I definitely recommend getting the video especially if its your first jump. It was incredible and I will definitely be back for the next jump.

WOW! What an unforgettable experience! Don't hesitate about an opportunity to see RI from a unique perspective. Having dreamed about skydiving my whole life, I finally took the leap! The adrenaline rush is so unbelievable that it is difficult to explain in words, from breath-taking views, to feeling free and even empowered within my personal life. I have reviewed the pictures and video several times and still cannot decide what I loved the most about it; pretty much everything! Everyone was accommodating, made me feel comfortable and even joked a bit along the way, helping to relieve some apprehension and making it an extraordinary day. I am so pleased I selected "Skydive Newport" to finally make my dream a reality. My only regret is not doing it sooner and making some necessary life changes. Seize the chance and jump! I know I'll be doing it again in the future! Thank you Skydive Newport!

My daughter and I both jumped for the first time back in May of this year. It was a birthday gift for her. Can you tell she's "daddy's little girl"? Truth be told, I'd always wanted to try it just once. She became my inspiration!! Safety, confidence and superb professionalism are all in great abundance and are the primary focus at Newport Skydive. Nick was a fabulous instructor and really made the whole experience even more exhilarating and fun. He truly loves his job and is a great photographer and videographer as well! I will admit that it is a little intimidating watching that door open at 10,000 feet and especially to hear the roar of the wind enter that cockpit. It is thrilling to be sure. Once out of the plane, it is a pure and unadulterated rush to start the plunge toward the ground. I love thrill seeking and, outside of long bungee jump plunges, there is nothing like this! The view of Newport, the bridges, the ocean and all the boats is simply breathtaking. A must do once in a lifetime adventure for those who love the thrill of it all!!!!!

Did a tandem skydive with my wife and two friends of ours on July 16th. We were all a bit nervous, but the staff at Skydive Newport gave us a lot of confidence. They explained the entire process from start to finish. Nothing left to do but enjoy the ride! I think the scariest part is when that door opens at 10,000 feet. Once we started free-falling, however, it was just a surreal and incredible experience. Then there was the parachute ride. My instructor Nick, did some awesome spirals on the way down. Landing was perfect, and the video came out great. I've watched it over and over again already. Nothing I've ever done compares to that adrenaline rush and then the post jump euphoria I felt. You owe it to yourself to try this at least once in your life, and Skydive Newport is the place to do it. The views from the air are just amazing! Do yourself a favor, and experience a higher level of existence (pun intended!!!).

I would like to give a huge thank you to the staff at Skydive Newport for an amazing first jump experience! I decided to "bite the bullet" and finally jump on June 24th, 2013 and I am so glad I did! The staff was welcoming and encouraging from the moment I walked in the door. My instructor, Nick, reminded me of what to do each step of the way and made the whole experience a lot of fun. The views of the island, ocean, and even across the bay were unbelievable! I highly recommend opting for the video/photo package - I still can't believe how high we were above the ground! Can't wait to jump again!!

From the moment I walked in the front door on 6/15/13 until the time I said goodbye the staff at Skydive Newport were fantastic!! They genuinely cared that I had a great experience and boy did I! It was one of the best experiences of my life. I had full confidence in my instructor Nick who made sure I knew what I needed to do and when so I could focus on enjoying this moment that will be with me forever. I totally recommend getting the video package so you can replay the experience over and over. I will be back! You are an A class team and I couldn't image jumping anywhere else besides Skydive Newport! Thank you! See you this fall and I will bring recruits!

I just went for my first jump on 06/09/2013. I have had skydiving on my "bucket list" for quite a few years. I finally decided it was time to just do it. A friend and I made reservations about two weeks before. I spoke directly with the owner Marc, great guy and he answered all of my questions on the phone. The weather the day of our jump was perfect. The staff at Skydive Newport was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The instructors made it all fun and I also got the video/photo package which came out awesome!! The whole experience was surreal and I can't say enough about how great the team at Skydive Newport is!! I will be back for future jumps and my kids want to jump as well! My son Marc and I jumped at Skydive Newport this past weekend (5/10/13). I had originally planned to go a moral support but found myself with a tandem harness and a short walk to a waiting plane. Our instuctors, Nicky and Jerry made our experience one of the best and currently unmatched experience of our lives. They were helpful, fun to be with and set the "skydiving bug" into both of us. Next stop.. certifying for solo jump.....
