Video Your Jump at Skydive Newport, RI. One hour south of Boston in New England

We offer two different video coverages, the contemporary and traditional package. The contemporary video (see sample clip at bottom of page) is available for every jump; your instructor wears a wrist-mounted camera with a wide angle lens. This package does not offer freefall still pictures.

For our traditional video package, a professional videographer/cameraman will be joining you and your jumpmaster on your skydive to capture your freefall. This package includes freefall still pictures. The traditional video is mainly available during weekdays; depending on our jump volume, we may offer this package during weekends on a limited basis only. The traditional video must be booked together with your jump reservation.

All videos includes interviews with you as we prepare to board the plane, shots of your ascent to altitude, climbing out of the aircraft, freefall, parachute opening, and your reaction upon reaching the ground safely.

During freefall , the cameraman will be flying just a few feet from your face with a video and still camera mounted to his helmet. For the truest color reproduction, all videos are shot with a digital Sony 3 chip camera. Your video is then edited on a state of the art non-linear equipment to provide the most superior results, all on DVD.

As an added bonus, this package includes a free CD with still pictures of your freefall. At the end of your jump, you will be handed the CD with your freefall pictured already burned on it. Video and still photos of your amazing experience will help you preserve the memory and share it with family and friends.

With our contemporary and also most popular video package your tandem instructor wears a wrist-mounted video camera and records a close-up video; it covers the exit, freefall, parachute opening, and some of your parachute glide.
