If only someone could experience my fear of little planes you’d realize how hard it was for me to get in the darn thing. BEST, scariest and most incredible thing I’ve ever done! Nicky (whom I’m lucky enough to know as we went to high school together) calmed me more then I think he knows – the entire staff at Skydive Newport is just phenomenal, so relaxing, funny and calming at the same time – on that climb to 10,000 feet. Needless to say, I already have plans to bring a few new people with me on September 1st and can not wait to experience skydiving again. My dad and I decided to skydive for the first time this past weekend (9/22/12) and Skydive Newport provided us with a great experience. The drop zone was covered in fog at our scheduled time so we had to wait for the weather to clear, but it was well worth the wait! The weather quickly turned beautiful and they brought in additional instructors and aircraft to accomodate the backlog of jumpers scheduled for that day. The team at Skydive Newport was 100% friendly and professional. My instructor Nick made everything simple and the pictures he was able to capture on the way down came out amazing. I spent the rest of the weekend trying to convince the rest of my friends and family to try Skydive Newport just so I have an excuse to go again!

I went skydiving for my third time on 9/1/12. I use to jump somewhere else but decided to try it in Newport. What an experience it was! The staff was friendly, professional and fun. They make you feel comfortable and take away any fears you may have. I’ve been twice before but lets be real, i was still jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, so i still get nervous before a jump. The views were unreal! Your instructor shows you everything like where Jamestown is and Block Island and so much more. Anyone who hasn’t jumped and is thinking about it, Don’t think, just DO IT! You wont be disappointed! I can honestly say i will not jump anywhere else besides Newport and i cant wait to do it again next year!

Well I finally did it. I have wanted to skydive for so long now and can cross it off my bucket list. On 08/13/2012 my daughters 25th birthday her and I jumped. It was a beautiful, clear day. Not a cloud in the sky. I was nervous, I would be lying if I told you otherwise but the people from skydive Newport made me feel comfortable and really help ease that on easy feeling. I did my first tandem jump almost two weeks ago to celebrate my 21st birthday and I loved it! Easily the greatest experience of my life! I felt extremely jubilant! The fall was exhilarating! The view was magnificent! It was the greatest way to celebrate my birthday and I do not regret it at all. In fact I cannot wait to go back!
Nicky (the man I jumped with) was great the whole time. He made me feel really comfortable as he kept me laughing and I’m really thankful for that! I went skydiving yesterday and had an amazing time. They gave you no time to be nervous and made you feel really comfortable about the whole process. I was really scared before I got there, and once I was there and talking to the instructors I was completely fine with it. The view was amazing- the experience probably wouldn’t have been the same elsewhere because you were right over the ocean and could see Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Newport Harbor, etc. It was a perfect day and one of the coolest things you can do.

After over a month of waiting in excitement to skydive I finally went with my family on Mother’s Day 2012. After arriving at Skydive Newport I could automatically feel the enthusiasm for skydiving from the staff! The instructional video and suiting up were so quick I barely had any time to let my fears set in. My instructor, Nick, was amazing and really made the whole experience for me! From the moment we got into the plane to when I smoothly landed on the ground I had a huge grin from ear to ear. It’s almost impossible to put into words the excitement and triumph you feel after skydiving your first time, I highly recommend Skydive Newport to anyone who wants to experience the world of skydiving! Last october a bunch of my coworkers decided that we should all go skydiving together. I was kind of new at work, but they invited me anyway. I had wanted to jump for years, and came up with every excuse in the book as to why I could not do it. Until I had no other choice, my fiancé booked a jump for my birthday present. My father who is a Vietnam vet was also Airborne. He was so excited to see his little girl make her first jump! How could I let my dad down? And refuse a birthday present that scared the life out of me but excited me all at the same time?! Lucky for my fiancé and I that he choose skydive Newport! Jumping out of a plane and putting our precious “new parent” lives in someone else’s hands, put your staff put us at ease and we laughed and cracked jokes the whole way up…up…up. I have always had skydiving on a list of things i wanted to do. For my 23rd birthday my friend reserved a date for me and a friend to go. Most people say, “yeah ill def go skydiving” until its booked and then realize your going to be jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I had my friend call and cancel one week prior i told her I couldnt do it. I still went along with my friend to watch him jump. When we got there my friend asked if there was still room for me to jump. Of course there just happened to be no one else booked. Dang it. So of course i decided what the heck ill give it a try. I suited up. The staff was great. I was deathly scared. Nick who was my instructor was absolutely awesome. Once i met him i knew this was gonna be an awesome experience. He explained everything very well and made me feel as comfortable as you can be jumping out of an airplane. As we went up in the plane all my nervousness went away. I had a sick experience. I went to Newport Skydive for my 18th birthday with my grandfather who served in WWII as a 101st paratrooper. I was so amped to get suited up and once I was I just wanted to get up there. There was a chance of overcast and was possible the jump might be postpone, and to add to it the lady who was to go up with me was stuck in traffic. Just sitting waiting to go up talking to my grandfather telling me how they jumped out at like 1000ft got my from so pumped up, to extremely nervous. Everything worked out the sky cleared the lady showed up at the last minute and I was the first to go. Never had such a incredible experience in my life, my grandfather felt the same.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to Skydive, after a lot of searching online I decided Skydive Newport was the place for me. They were dropping much higher than the competition and with a better view! When I got there everyone was extremely helpful and made me feel incredibly safe. The guys you will jump with are all very experienced and very cool. For not much more you can get a video of the jump which is great to show your friends. When my buddy saw it, he was pretty stoked so he and I both signed up to jump the following season. If you’re looking for somewhere to jump, stop here. It’s the best around!

My second skydive was made at skydive newport on Saturday. It was incredible. The location was really nice. I jumped in the midwest over corn fields on my first jump, and newport was sooo different. Water, beaches and everything else.
No need to go anywhere else. Newport has my vote!

If only someone could experience my fear of little planes you’d realize how hard it was for me to get in the darn thing. BEST, scariest and most incredible thing I’ve ever done! Nicky (whom I’m lucky enough to know as we went to high school together) calmed me more then I think he knows – the entire staff at Skydive Newport is just phenomenal, so relaxing, funny and calming at the same time – on that climb to 10,000 feet. Needless to say, I already have plans to bring a few new people with me on September 1st and can not wait to experience skydiving again. I will not be jumping anywhere but Skydive Newport – thank you for a fantastic first time jump! I’m hooked!
My son Marc and I jumped at Skydive Newport this past weekend (5/10/13). I had originally planned to go a moral support but found myself with a tandem harness and a short walk to a waiting plane. Our instuctors, Nicky and Jerry made our experience one of the best and currently unmatched experience of our lives. They were helpful, fun to be with and set the “skydiving bug” into both of us. My Dad and I jumped at Skydive Newport this past weekend (5/10/13) and had the time of our lives! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Nicky and Jerry were our instructors and they were professional, knowledgeable and overall great guys! We cannot wait to jump again and when we do we will be returning to Skydive Newport!

My dad and I decided to skydive for the first time this past weekend (9/22/12) and Skydive Newport provided us with a great experience. The drop zone was covered in fog at our scheduled time so we had to wait for the weather to clear, but it was well worth the wait! The weather quickly turned beautiful and they brought in additional instructors and aircraft to accomodate the backlog of jumpers scheduled for that day. The team at Skydive Newport was 100% friendly and professional. My instructor Nick made everything simple and the pictures he was able to capture on the way down came out amazing. I spent the rest of the weekend trying to convince the rest of my friends and family to try Skydive Newport just so I have an excuse to go again!
Took my son down today for his 18th birthday present. This was his first and my 3rd jump. I’ve been to 2 other jump schools and this has been the best. The views from 10,000 feet were tremendous and the staff was not only professional, they were there to make sure you had fun. And fun we had. Thanks to Chris, Nick and the rest of the team for a great day. We’ll be back next year for another 18th birthday
I went skydiving for my third time on 9/1/12. I use to jump somewhere else but decided to try it in Newport. What an experience it was! The staff was friendly, professional and fun. They make you feel comfortable and take away any fears you may have. I’ve been twice before but lets be real, i was still jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, so i still get nervous before a jump. The views were unreal! Your instructor shows you everything like where Jamestown is and Block Island and so much more. Anyone who hasn’t jumped and is thinking about it, Don’t think, just DO IT! You wont be disappointed! I can honestly say i will not jump anywhere else besides Newport and i cant wait to do it again next year!
I went skydiving for the first time on 08/27/12 and I have to say it was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. The staff are all very friendly, professional, and organized; they also have a sense of humor, which helped tremendously! The view was amazing and my video and pictures came out great. Jumped at skydive Newport this past week for the first time and had the most amazing experience. The whole process was extremely coordinated from the moment we entered to the time we jumped. The staff was friendly and very professional and knew exactly what they were doing! The location was awesome with the ocean beneath us for a once and a life time view! I would definitely skydive here again and would highly recommend it!
Well I finally did it. I have wanted to skydive for so long now and can cross it off my bucket list. On 08/13/2012 my daughters 25th birthday her and I jumped. It was a beautiful, clear day. Not a cloud in the sky. I was nervous, I would be lying if I told you otherwise but the people from skydive Newport made me feel comfortable and really help ease that on easy feeling. Great group of people, all very professional. Pictures and video came out great. Thank you Skydive Newport for helping me cross another goal off my bucketlist, I has such a great time I plan on doing it again and wouldn’t think of doing it any where but Skydive Newport.

There is no word short of amazing to describe my experience at skydive newport. I was pretty nervous before my jump but once you are free falling you start to think ‘i have been missing out on this feeling my entire life?!’ The staff is great makes you feel comfortable and safe. THIS IS SOMETHING EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ON THEIR BUCKET LIST.

Went skydiving today with my son. It was the first time for both of us but I don’t think it will be our last. What an amazing experience. They say that throughout your life you will have many memories to look back on but creating those special moments is what truly changes your life. Today I jumped out of a plane!!!! What a great day! My son is leaving to California in 4 weeks, there isn’t a better way to create that moment…. a once in a lifetime experience! Everyone has to try it at least once. Now all I have to do is talk my two daughters into jumping with me… Thank-you so very much for one of the best days of my life.
NOTHING LIKE JUMPING THAT FIRST TIME OUT OF AN AIRPLANE! They were very friendly and very helpful with any questions i had. Instructions were helpful and covered every part of the jump i needed to be aware of. The experience was surreal and the adrenaline rush is truely like nothing ive ever experienced before! I would highly reccomend this to anyone even remotely interested in jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!

I am almost at a loss for the right words to convey how awesome my skydiving experience was! I was really scared at first, but once out of the plane, it was almost surreal how peaceful and amazing it was. The view was AWESOME and my tandem instructor, Nick, was just THE BEST! You have to jump at least once in your life, and you HAVE to do it with these guys! Thank you for making my 45 birthday gift to myself a great one!!!

Made my first jump on May 28th and it was the most incredible experience. As one of the staff put it, it was “Total Zen.” I recommend these guys to anyone who is a first time jumper, and you really cant beat the view of being above Newport. The staff were incredibly friendly people and personable too. I will most definitely come back here to jump again, the whole experience has made me want to make skydiving a part of my life.
Did my skydive on June 6, outstanding experience!!!! Something I have wanted to do for years and at age 57 decided to do it. Why wait? Video and pictures came out great. I did my first tandem jump almost two weeks ago to celebrate my 21st birthday and I loved it! Easily the greatest experience of my life! I felt extremely jubilant! The fall was exhilarating! The view was magnificent! It was the greatest way to celebrate my birthday and I do not regret it at all. In fact I cannot wait to go back!
Nicky (the man I jumped with) was great the whole time. He made me feel really comfortable as he kept me laughing and I’m really thankful for that! I also got the video to immortalize that moment and be able to relive it. I loved how it turned out! It was like a short documentary and the music changed to accompany the moment. I went skydiving yesterday and had an amazing time. They gave you no time to be nervous and made you feel really comfortable about the whole process. I was really scared before I got there, and once I was there and talking to the instructors I was completely fine with it. The view was amazing- the experience probably wouldn’t have been the same elsewhere because you were right over the ocean and could see Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Newport Harbor, etc. It was a perfect day and one of the coolest things you can do.
I am from India and when i came to US with 2 things in my mind.. skydiving and shark diving…i was sad that i couldnt do the later but sky-diving made up for it.. it was my first dive and it was AWESOME!! especially the free-fall n I got to do it in Newport which has a breath-taking view from above.. Probably one of the best, if not the best place to skydive in the US… Thank you SKYDIVE-NEWPORT for this amazing experience

My daughters talked me into skydiving with them on Mother’s Day, 2012. Everyone told me it was awesome but I wasn’t fully aware of just how unbelieveable it was going to be until the staff started suiting me up and explaining what was going to happen up there! After over a month of waiting in excitement to skydive I finally went with my family on Mother’s Day 2012. After arriving at Skydive Newport I could automatically feel the enthusiasm for skydiving from the staff! The instructional video and suiting up were so quick I barely had any time to let my fears set in. My instructor, Nick, was amazing and really made the whole experience for me! From the moment we got into the plane to when I smoothly landed on the ground I had a huge grin from ear to ear. It’s almost impossible to put into words the excitement and triumph you feel after skydiving your first time, I highly recommend Skydive Newport to anyone who wants to experience the world of skydiving! As Nick and I said when floating to Earth, “life is good! And you’re living it!”
We went skydiving for our first time with Skydive Newport on Mother’s Day. It was such a great experience. The staff made you feel very welcome and comfortable. During the ride up the instructors joke around to distract you from the fact that you are about to jump out of a plane 10,000 feet up. Overall it was a great experience and I would do it again with Skydive Newport anyday!
My fiance bought me a gift card for skyding at Skydive Newport at Christmas. Went skydiving on 5/12/12 for the first time in my life. It was exhilerating! Most exciting experience of my life! Wanted to thank Newport skydiving and their staff for making my first jump out of a perfectly working airplane for the fun of it, the best experience yet. I’m 40 years old and I cannot wait to jump again. Hopefully Nick Sergi can take me for another great experience. I was a little scared once I was 10,000 feet up in the air and Nicki was able to still make me laugh and make me feel ready to jump.. Incredible experience. Wanted to try it for years and finally got around to doing it. Wish I had done it years ago. Words cannot describe how much fun it was. It really isn’t ‘scary’ at all and it should be on everyone’s bucket list. Very safe and relaxing enviorment and an incredible view. Will definetly try it again sometime.
Last August for my 40th birthday my brother and I went skydiving. It was the most amazing experience and to have shared it with my brother was just as amazing. After that first dive I made it my plan to do a dive every year. I have never felt so very free and at peace as I did in the air. There are not words.
Last october a bunch of my coworkers decided that we should all go skydiving together. I was kind of new at work, but they invited me anyway. It was something i had been wanting to do for a while, and it was on such a whim that I decided to go. It was such a great experience! It brought us all together and it gave me the rush of a lifetime!
it happened to be very clear the day we went, and the view was breathtaking- i could see as far as martha’s vineyard, boston and even long island from the plane!

I had wanted to jump for years, and came up with every excuse in the book as to why I could not do it. Until I had no other choice, my fiancé booked a jump for my birthday present. My father who is a Vietnam vet was also Airborne. He was so excited to see his little girl make her first jump! How could I let my dad down? And refuse a birthday present that scared the life out of me but excited me all at the same time?! Lucky for my fiancé and I that he choose skydive Newport! Jumping out of a plane and putting our precious “new parent” lives in someone else’s hands, put your staff put us at ease and we laughed and cracked jokes the whole way up…up…up. The feeling of jumping out of a plane, just cannot be described! It was the most incredible experience of our lives! The view of the ocean was incredible and to actually see the curvature of the earth is breath taking! The best part of my personal experience is that my dad is no longer with us, and to share something so special with him just fills my heart with pride, because I am the only child out of the three of us that has had the nerve to jump . I would give anything to do it again!
I had always wanted to go skydiving. Then, two years ago on my 20th birthday, my sister, friend, and myself took the leap at Skydive Newport. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had. I remember about to jump out, feeling a little nervous, thinking i was gonna get a countdown to jump when i was “persuaded” to jump with a “little” push. As soon as I was out, any fears or nervousness left me and was smiling the entire time. Both my sister and friend felt the same. I can’t wait to go again!
I have always had skydiving on a list of things i wanted to do. For my 23rd birthday my friend reserved a date for me and a friend to go. Most people say, “yeah ill def go skydiving” until its booked and then realize your going to be jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. I had my friend call and cancel one week prior i told her I couldnt do it. I still went along with my friend to watch him jump. When we got there my friend asked if there was still room for me to jump. Of course there just happened to be no one else booked. Dang it. So of course i decided what the heck ill give it a try. I suited up. The staff was great. I was deathly scared. Nick who was my instructor was absolutely awesome. Once i met him i knew this was gonna be an awesome experience. He explained everything very well and made me feel as comfortable as you can be jumping out of an airplane. As we went up in the plane all my nervousness went away. It was an absolute amazing experience. I will never forget it and im dying to go back:) thank you skydive newport!!!
I had the time of my life jumping at skydive Newport. It was at a time in my life that I was contemplating a life changing decision. I decided to fulfill my desire of skydiving and take life from there. It was the time of my life. I don’t think the smile left my face for a week. It is truly an indescribable experience to someone who has never jumped. I have since sent a number of my friends and talked it up in many casual conversations. I had a sick experience. I went to Newport Skydive for my 18th birthday with my grandfather who served in WWII as a 101st paratrooper. I was so amped to get suited up and once I was I just wanted to get up there. There was a chance of overcast and was possible the jump might be postpone, and to add to it the lady who was to go up with me was stuck in traffic. Just sitting waiting to go up talking to my grandfather telling me how they jumped out at like 1000ft got my from so pumped up, to extremely nervous. Everything worked out the sky cleared the lady showed up at the last minute and I was the first to go. Never had such a incredible experience in my life, my grandfather felt the same.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to Skydive, after a lot of searching online I decided Skydive Newport was the place for me. They were dropping much higher than the competition and with a better view! When I got there everyone was extremely helpful and made me feel incredibly safe. The guys you will jump with are all very experienced and very cool. For not much more you can get a video of the jump which is great to show your friends. When my buddy saw it, he was pretty stoked so he and I both signed up to jump the following season. If you’re looking for somewhere to jump, stop here. It’s the best around!
I had always wanted to go skydiving, so for my 18th birthday, I was given the opportunity to go skydiving in Newport! (July 2011) I went with my mom who was not expecting to go skydiving, and we both loved it. It was the best experience of my life and I cannot wait to go again. My dad who is afraid of heights when in the fall and did not feel scared at all and instead enjoyed it

I have recommend skydive Newport to all my friends/family it was such a great time and experience like no other the best part is I jumped with my fiance and I always tell her “I love ya around the world up to the sky and back again” and you guy made a part of that happen thank you and we will be returning this year for sure thx again

I went skydiving with Skydive Newport with my brother and sister in law. It was probably the most thrilling thing I’ve ever done! I told my brother I wanted to join him when he went and the very next day we went on the sunset jump (the final skydive of the day) it was the most beautiful sky I had ever seen!!

My first jump was back in 2005 and I was so lucky to have done this jump in the Fall…Seeing the foliage in Newport and the ocean views were breath taking…Since then I have jumped twice a year in various places when on vacation…but my favorite place to jump in SkyDive Newport, I maybe partical but they are the BEST in the business…friendly, a lot of fun and so trust worthy…if skydiving is on your “bucklist”…what are you waiting for…”SHUT UP AND JUMP”

I jumped in tandem with Nick Sergi at the end of last summer and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Nick made me feel so comfortable and relaxed on my first jump, and upon speaking with him more I was confident that he was the best man for the job in keeping me safe. The video he took captured the experience perfectly, also. One of the most memorable 5 minutes of my life! I will absolutely return to Skydive Newport for my next jump…hopefully sooner than later!

Skydiving was definitely a bucket list item for me. It’s something I always wanted to do and finally the opportunity presented itself for my 21st birthday! I thought I was going to be SO nervous but Skydive Newport was incredible. The people were so nice and they were so comfortable it made me feel the same. I was so relaxed and excited the whole way up when finally the door opened and I was ready to jump! What an AMAZING experience! I recently experienced my first tandem jump with Skydive Newport this past weekend and can not wait to go back! I totally recommend Skydive Newport not only because it was the greatest experience EVERR but the instructors and the staff there are amazing! They really know what their doing, my friends and I have had to have thrown at least 30 questions to them and they were able to answer every single one with confidence…which made us feel comfortable enough to jump out of a plane with them

The Skydive Newport team is fantastic and the coastal view is absolutely stunning! It’s actually quite peaceful tumbling to earth, and you’ll be well supported during the fall. I would definitely do it again, and I highly recommend the video record of your feat.
