Now you can experience the sport of skydiving with confidence! With the passenger/pilot system you can now make your first skydive with greater safety than ever before. Your parachute, specially built for two, will carry you both a soft, pinpoint landing. We strongly recommend a tandem skydive for your first jump. A tandem jump is when you are harnessed, and under direct supervision of an USPA certified Instructor. Training is approximately 15 minutes long. This is one of the nicest features of doing a tandem jump to experience skydiving for the first time.

Training is very minimal because of the fact you are with the instructor at all times. It offers the first time jumper a 40-second or free fall at 120 mph. The parachute is deployed at 5000 feet above the ground followed by approximately a 5 to 10 minute parachute ride down to the ground. Exit altitude is 10,000 feet and landings are typically soft and very accurate. You must be at least18 years of age, and weigh no more than 240lbs, at most.

A $100.00 per person credit card authorization is required to secure a reservation: we require a valid credit card number upon reservation; however, we do not charge your credit card at this point. Please read our Pricing and Cancellation Policy for further information. Video and still photo reservations must be made at that time. We accept Master Card, Visa or Discover. We accept personal checks for a deposit only up to one week prior to the reservation date.

We here at Skydive Newport are the only qualified people to determine if you can't jump due to inclement weather (wind, rain, etc.) If you are uncertain about the weather on your reservation date, you must call and we will keep you informed. Deposit is not withheld if the weather does not permit you to jump.
